Airport Ground Transportation Information

From MSP (Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport)

NORTHFIELD METRO EXPRESS

The metro express runs three times daily between the St. Olaf campus and a number of stops in the Twin Cities area, including MSP Terminal 1. Tickets are about $15 one way and can be purchased directly from the Metro Express Website. 

Because the line runs only 3 times a day be sure to check that your arrival coincides with a convenient pickup time. The busses pick up at the "Charter Bus" area (not "Shuttle Bus") at Terminal 1. 

 FIRST CHOICE SHUTTLE

First Choice is Northfield's local shuttle service. They offer an airport rate, but do not accept credit cards, so please plan appropriately if you plan to use them. Rates and contact info are on their site. Rates start at $70 for one person, but shared rides become significantly cheaper per person.

LYFT

Lyft and other app services pick up from MSP. A ride to Northfield starts at around $35 can vary significantly.

DRIVING

St. Olaf's campus is right off of I-35. For those staying on campus overnight parking is at Skoglund/Tostrud Athletic Center parking lot, adjacent to Ytterboe Hall.
